A seven-day humanitarian surgical campaign was conducted by the Health Department of KBU (Kinder Brauchen Uns) Organization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The “Children Need Us” Organization is pleased to announce the successful completion of its cleft lip and palate surgical mission, held at Atatürk Hospital in Kabul.
The humanitarian mission was conducted from September 20 to September 27, 2026. During the seven-day campaign, a total of 67 patients, primarily children registered from different provinces across Afghanistan, received surgical treatment.
The mission was carried out with the participation of experienced international plastic surgeons and medical specialists, alongside the dedicated medical team of Atatürk Hospital.
All surgical procedures were completed successfully, and the patients received the necessary medical care and follow-up before returning to their families.
